Evangeline Berube

Vice President, Strategic Accounts

Evangeline Berube is a Vice President of Strategic Accounts with Robert Half, the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm. Based in Alberta, she partners with strategic clients and various teams across Robert Half, including Protiviti its global consulting firm. This enables her to further develop her customers and nurture opportunities that leverage Robert Half’s premium services and specialized capabilities for both recruitment-focused efforts and project-related opportunities.

With over 15 years of experience in talent solutions, Evangeline has witnessed all phases of the job market cycle firsthand. She is thoroughly familiar with the skills that are currently in demand, she is an expert in employment trends, and she enjoys being able to help professionals find their dream careers.

Evangeline graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and is actively involved in several professional associations and non-profit organizations in Canada.

David Bolton

Regional Director

David Bolton is a Regional Director with Robert Half, the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm. He oversees teams in Robert Half’s Vancouver, Fraser Valley, and Winnipeg offices, managing both contract and permanent placements within the Finance and Accounting, Administrative and Customer Support, Technology, and Marketing and Creative practice groups.  

With responsibility for a team of 50 staffing professionals who support client growth strategies and recruitment plans, David also conducts and leads key client insight meetings, and actively participates with local professional associations to promote Robert Half’s thought leadership and resources.  

He has 10 years of experience in the talent industry, first joining Robert Half’s Sydney, Australia team in January 2013, where he obtained roles of progressive seniority. In 2017, he joined Robert Half in Vancouver as Director of Permanent Placement Services, progressing through the ranks to take on his current role in 2022. David is passionate about supporting his dynamic team and building strong relationships in the British Columbia market. He loves seeing the impact his team has on finding candidates their dream job and on helping companies land great talent.  

David has a degree in Mathematics, and Accounting and Financial Management from the University of Loughborough.

Deborah Bottineau

Managing Director

Deborah Bottineau is a Managing Director with Robert Half, the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm. Overseeing the Greater Toronto Area, her responsibilities include building high-performance teams and providing solutions for skilled professionals and companies across various areas of expertise.

As a spokesperson for Robert Half, Deborah provides insightful commentary on issues related to hiring trends and career management, and her thought leadership has been featured in media outlets such as Global News Toronto, CityTV and the Globe and Mail. 

Deborah joined Robert Half in 1998, and has also held the roles of Staffing Manager, District Director, Division Director, Branch Manager and Metro Market Manager. With over 20 years of experience in the industry, Deborah has witnessed all phases of the job market cycle first-hand.

Prior to joining the organization, Deborah worked in the insurance, retail and advertising industries. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Sociology and Human Resource Management from the University of Guelph.

Trina Casey-Myatt

Regional Director

Trina Casey-Myatt is a Regional Director with Robert Half, the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm. In her role, she oversees Robert Half teams and practice groups across the Alberta market.

Trina has more than 20 years’ experience in the recruitment industry, with most of her time spent at Robert Half where she has held various leadership positions within the organization and has been instrumental in building and maintaining key relationships with many of Robert Half’s top clients, particularly in Western Canada. Trina is a passionate advocate for the individuals and businesses her teams serve and works closely to ensure the best possible experience for clients and candidates. She takes a keen interest in developing relationships on behalf of Robert Half and has been recognized on a global platform for her teams’ accomplishments.

Trina is actively involved with several of the associations that Robert Half partners with, including CPA Calgary, the Credit Institute of Canada, and several post secondary institutions. Trina’s knowledge of the employment market is highly sought; she is frequently asked to speak at industry events and to share her insights with local and national media outlets.

Trina holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing from Saint Mary’s University and an Adult Learning certificate from the University of Calgary. 

Michelle Dunnill

Regional Director

Michelle is a Regional Director with Robert Half, the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm. In her role, she is responsible for all practice groups in downtown Toronto, working in collaboration with both the leadership and branch teams.  

Michelle joined Robert Half in October 2016 and is passionate about supporting her ever-growing dynamic team and building strong relationships with clients. Prior to her current role, she was Branch Director, Toronto, overseeing both contract and permanent placement teams within the Marketing and Creative, Technology, Legal and Management Resources practice groups.  

A dedicated leader, Michelle and her team have diverse recruitment and sourcing experience within all industries and take great pride in their ability to think strategically and match talented candidates with the right organizations.  With a passion for prioritizing opportunities that will engage her teams and support their growth, Michelle also actively participates with local professional associations to promote Robert Half’s thought leadership and resources.  

Prior to joining Robert Half, she worked in the staffing industry for 15 years, securing and providing top talent to many Fortune 500 companies.

Michael French

Regional Director

Michael French is a Regional Director with Robert Half, the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm. In his role, Michael works with Robert Half markets across Canada assisting field teams with client project solutions.

Michael has been with Robert Half for over 20 years and has helped support the growth and success of countless businesses and careers in that time, while witnessing all phases of the job market cycle, first-hand. He is thoroughly familiar with the skills that are currently in demand and is an expert in employment trends, particularly within the accounting field. Prior to joining Robert Half, Michael worked within the construction equipment financing industry.

Michael is a leading presenter of Robert Half's professional development courses and has played a key role in the career advancement and growth of job seekers.

Robert Hosking

Senior Regional Director

Robert Hosking is a Senior Regional Director with Robert Half, the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm. With a strong track record of leadership that includes extensive business transformation and change management, he oversees the north Greater Toronto Area, helping clients to evolve and optimize their business strategies and providing solutions for skilled professionals and companies across multiple sectors.

A talented leader with more than 20 years of experience at Robert Half, Robert joined the company as a Staffing Manager in Accountemps Mississauga in 1995, progressively advancing into more senior roles including Regional Vice President and Director, Training and Development for the Western Zone. In 2009, he became the Global Executive Director, OfficeTeam before transitioning into the role of Senior Vice President, Professional Staffing Services. In addition to his time at Robert Half, he also led the Canadian operations of a global Executive and Leadership Search firm, where he was proud to be a founding member of the DEI Council

Robert holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Guelph.

David King

Senior Managing Director

David King is a Senior Managing Director with Robert Half, the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm. In his current role, he oversees both the Canadian and South American Robert Half business.

For more than 25 years, David has led a successful career with Robert Half, having held senior leadership positions in both Eastern and Western Canada. His perspectives and knowledge on workplace issues and labour trends are often featured in major media outlets and executive keynotes, and he provides curriculum guidance to leading educational institutions across the country. Under David’s direction, Robert Half has established itself as a leading advisor to businesses internationally, helping companies in all stages of growth establish talented teams and thriving organizations.

David holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Memorial University of Newfoundland and currently serves on the Faculty of Business Dean’s Advisory Board.

Sandra Lavoy

Regional Vice-President

Sandra Lavoy is a regional vice-president with Robert Half, the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm. In her role, she manages the daily operations of Robert Half’s Ottawa office Ottawa operations, as well as technology operations for Quebec.

Sandra has spent more than 20 years of her professional life in the recruitment industry and has experienced all phases of the job market cycle first-hand. She is thoroughly familiar with the staffing skills that are currently in demand and is an expert in employment trends within the accounting and finance industry. Under Sandra’s direction, Robert Half has achieved great success in establishing itself as a leading provider of highly skilled professionals. Sandra has held roles with increasing responsibility and built teams to their maximum potential by on-boarding new hires in her branches, as well as facilitating training classes across Canada.

Prior to joining the organization, Sandra spent 10 years in the financial services arena and consulted with major companies.

Michael O'Leary

Regional Vice President

Michael O'Leary is a Regional Vice- President for Robert Half, the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm. His area of responsibility currently includes managing the daily operations of Robert Half’s Quebec and Ottawa offices.

Michael has spent more than 25 years of his professional life in the recruitment industry and has experienced all phases of the job market cycle first-hand. He is thoroughly familiar with the staffing skills that are currently in demand and is an expert on the employment trends within the accounting and finance industries. Under Michael's direction, RH has achieved great success in establishing itself as a leading provider of highly skilled professionals. In addition, Michael has often shared his perspectives on workplace issues and hiring trends at professional association conferences and events.

Mike Shekhtman

Senior Regional Director

Mike Shekhtman is a Senior Regional Director with Robert Half, the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm. In his role, Mike oversees multiple offices and practice groups across British Columbia and Manitoba, managing teams in Finance and Accounting, Administrative and Customer support, Management Resources, Technology, and Marketing and Creative.

Mike brings over 14 years of recruitment industry expertise and an in-depth understanding of the national and local hiring and recruitment landscape. In addition to his role at Robert Half, Mike is co-founder of Eeko Couriers, and recently served as a board member for the Canadian Mental Health Association in Vancouver and Fraser Valley. 

Koula Vasilopoulos

Senior Managing Director

Koula Vasilopoulos is a Senior Managing Director with Robert Half, the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm. In her role, Koula oversees the Canadian business across Western Canada and the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

For more than 24 years, Koula has led a successful career with Robert Half and held senior management positions in both Canada and South America. Her perspectives and knowledge on workplace issues and labour trends are often featured in major media outlets, and she provides curriculum guidance to leading educational institutions across the country. Koula is an expert on national hiring trends and is passionate about supporting organizations as they look to build successful teams, and a flourishing workplace culture. Under Koula's direction, Robert Half has achieved great success in establishing itself as a valuable partner, thought leader and industry resource.

Prior to joining the organization, Koula spent more than 10 years in management roles within the hospitality industry and holds a diploma in management. She is dedicated to her community and is actively involved in organizations like the United Way and various professional associations in the Calgary area. In addition, Koula has often shared her perspectives on workplace issues and hiring trends at professional association conferences and events.

Derek Wood

CPA, CA, Regional Director

Derek Wood, CPA, CA is a Regional Director with Robert Half, the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm. In this role, he is responsible for branch operations in the West Greater Toronto Area.

Derek has spent 15 years in the staffing and recruitment industry, having joined Robert Half’s Waterloo branch in 2007, after earning his CPA designation in 2002. His strong work ethic and reputation for reliability and integrity have positioned him as a consistent top performer for the company, with several years working exclusively in the Waterloo market as an in-production Branch Manager for several Robert Half practice groups.

Proving himself a successful and capable leader, Derek later assumed responsibility for teams in the Burlington and Mississauga offices as a Director of Permanent Placement Services for the full-time division, and a Metro Market Manager for the contract/consulting division, eventually being promoted to his current role as Regional Director. Derek takes pride in leading his teams to be the best they can, creating a positive, collaborative and highly productive work environment.
